The topic for this evening is “Practicing in the clouds - How technology is reshaping the Legal Office“.

In cloud computing, the user's computer may contain almost no software or data (perhaps a minimal operating system and web browser only), serving as little more than a display terminal for processes occurring on a network of computers far away.

This way of managing IT is becoming more and more popular and has real implications for how legal practices are managed.

The evening will start with a short presentation from Andrew Perry and will then be followed by a panel discussion covering the areas of risk, the “paperless office”, how cloud computing has increased efficiency what to do about paper – are we anywhere near a paperless office?
